Our name
Why the tusk and the tulip?
The tusk represents strength, wisdom, protection, and the deep memory of women who carry families, businesses, and communities forward. The tulip represents renewal, individuality, beauty, and growth. Together they describe the full range of women’s leadership — grounded and growing, strong and graceful, powerful and deeply human.

Stacey Smith has spent her career building rooms where people connect, collaborate, and move ideas forward. As Founder & CEO of Smith Consulting & Events, a Maryland-based firm, she leads strategy, programming, and production for events and initiatives that create real impact.
With Tusk & Tulip, Stacey brings that experience into a women-centered initiative designed around purpose, relationship, courage, and growth — the kind of room she has always wanted to walk into, made for the women she has always wanted to gather.
